Was ist passiert?
Where have the children gone.
Actually Patricia did not want to be present in public. And actually John thought that his song, together with all the others, would guard his „treasure chest“ for at least another 2o years. Actually…
But this time of great upheaval and awakening has taught these two people a better lesson. What has happened?
Patricia created a YouTube channel to carry her texts into the world. „…Because the shyness of the public gave way to the urge to share the messages. (…) If it would bring even one person closer to himself and his true being, it would have been worth it,“ she says. Her channel developed into a platform of „loving impulses“, which is adorned with her own poems, selected, sung song lines and mirrored contributions of other people. This also includes the messages in the name of the children.
Even better known people, such as Xavier Naidoo or Birgit Doll, are particularly interested in this great and vulnerable topic. And so it happens that Xavier Naidoo shares a contribution by Birgit Doll on his telegram channel. John, who is following this channel, becomes aware of it and thus lands on Birgit Doll’s telegram channel. What John and Patricia do not suspect at this time – here the so-called „happy coincidence“ happened. Because Birgit had linked one of Patricia’s videos to her page. When John saw this video, it was absolutely clear to him: this is her. This is the singer for this song.
One weekend later, the two sat together in the improvised studio at home in Patricia’s „Oasis of Creativity“, as John always calls it, „this is where God lives“.
Now it was up to Patricia to think about the lyrics and the melody for the music. „The lyrics were written quickly, that always works quite well,“ she explains. „But I never invented a melody before,“ she confesses. „I really didn’t know how to do that.“ While she says this, she smiles and adds: „I can remember the words John had put on my heart: The song already exists – you just have to hear it. And that’s exactly how it happened: „After I put my children to bed, a special silence prevailed. At that moment I heard the melody in my ear.“
So within a week they created the song Where have the children gone. „The lyrics are deliberately in English, because this theme concerns the whole world.“
With all our gratitude and solidarity that finally dark to light is taking place and that there are such huge lights that are the pillars of the new time.
With this song exactly this energy shall be carried to them and into the world. To come back again to all those who need nudge, hope, a feeling of community and not being alone. And last but not least to give a voice to those who have suffered so much in this deep darkness and to show them the proper respect. All this is in every single word and tone of this song.
And be sure to listen until the very end – that’s when the highlight of the whole song comes!
